I thought that the book was quite boring, and the way he talked about the fiancé he had at the beginning of the book was kind of mean. Although I thought the way he used sex toys to try to force the female lead to marry him was funny, if it happened in real life, it is downright mean and blackmail. I mean, she would have said yes anyway. I know he thought that she was running away, and he wanted to make her stay connected to him forever. It is the just the idea that makes me think it is interesting, but also cruel at the same time. The plot was sort of predictable, but if this was not a novella, the plot had so much potential, like knowing why the guy's fiancé at the beginning of the book doesn't like sex. However, I would not recommend the book.

If only Santa could bring him to me.Gina I wait on baited breath for your next series. Please don't make me wait too long. ;-)Everyone MUST read all about the St. Martin men. You will definitely be delighted, ignited and moist.

Love the St. Martin family Saga! The stories are all self contained but still allow for the cameo appearance of others from previous books. You get a heads up on who the next story will be about with the introduction of another family member who may have mentioned but never seen before. The sex scenes are hot without being trashy and definitely heats up the page. The characters are worth getting to know because they feel right and make you want to know them better. The setting is contemporary and so you can feel even more a part of things since you are looking at your reality more or less.Campbell Lee St. Martin is a millionaire business man who has grown bored with vanilla sex. He doesn't want BDSM but a little lust and aggression that is sorely missing. Camp is engaged to Kim, a very repressed young woman, but because he has been divorced before he does want to admit defeat once again.Along comes Jenny who is nothing like Kim. While he is totally taken with her he cannot decide whether he wants to kill her or date her. Jenny has had a hard life and decided that a permanent man in her life is something she does not need. But once Campbell has set his mind to something or someone, he intends to succeed.A nice hot and sweet story with a perfect ending.

This is the last story in the St. Martin Family saga however… I know for a fact that we have another brother left to get to know (CLAY… cough cough… I want Clay…) But, of this series, this is the last one… And just like the others in the series, Ms. Gina gave another grand slam! Since the stories are short, Ms. Gina has a limited space to work with but she does an awesome job with what she has been given. Her writing has enchanted me with her words and made lust run in my veins. So let’s get started with this review…Campbell, aka Camp, is the St. Martin brother that dots all the I’s and crosses all the t’s. He likes schedules, order and plans. He might be a tad bit OCD but that is not a bad thing, especially when order is needed. His need for order in his life dominates him as much as he loves to dominate in his sex life. But that is a side of him that he keeps hidden, until one woman pushes all his buttons and lights his fire… He knows it is best to think with his head upstairs and NOT the one down stairs but when it comes to this woman that is keeping him on his toes – all bets are off!Jenny’s life was basically planned for her when her parents died in a fire, leaving behind an autistic brother. She knows the life she dreamed of will never be because Andrew will always come first. Jenny knows there is more to life than working two jobs and taking care of Andrew but she has to make sure that Andrew is taking care of before even her own needs. Jenny keeps sex casual because getting serious would mean the man meeting Andrew and if you don’t meet Andrew’s approval, then the man goes no farther. End of story… but what happens when one man understands her brother better than anyone else… Well, let’s go find out!!This is an amazing story, as they all are. I love how Ms. Gina keeps the stories family based. No matter which story you pick (they can be read out of order) to read, you will be exposed to the past hurt in their lives but you will see how the determination to be a solid family will repair what was once broken in the St. Martin clan. You will see their heartbreak but you feel the love and respect that will repair the family. Each story cradles the family but does not overshadow the main characters and their story. Because as we all know, everyone has a story to tell… Some just do not want everyone knowing their business…Camp and Jenny tell their story very well. Each one has things they need to own up to and stop worrying what others might say… These two will delight you with their sparring and in your face attitude, which I absolutely love – because sometimes love is just that way – in your face! And what love wants, love gets… Just ask Camp and Jenny! Oh and if you read the little sex speech I gave when I described Camp to you.. just wait until you read their story.. All I will say is it has me praying for more pages!!!!!

Smolder is the last book in the St. Martin Family Saga. And I was hooked right from the beginning to end. This book has the perfect combination of hot, erotic, sweet and emotional. I was surprised how quickly I connected with the characters and fast I devoured the book. There's something special about Camp and Jenny that has me sucked into their story.Camp aka "Mr. Play It Safe" was the total alpha male package - domineering, possessive, controlling, demanding, broody and quiet obsessive. But he's also sweet, debatable, honest, protective and totally gorgeous! And he make me feel squishy inside!Jenny is a fire cracker! She's a great heroine. I admired her because despite everything she has been through she was still able to make something for herself and for her brother. The chemistry between these two were off the charts! The relationship was slow building buy filled with plenty of sexual tensions. Between snarky comments and insults I was beyond ready for these two to finally get together... And when they did? Yowza! And Camp's into sex domination and a dirty talker too! That makes it even hotter. That man knows how to dominate... The things he would say and do...Overall, Smolder is a quick, hot, sexy, sweet, heartwarming and delightful read. Ms. Watson did an amazing job with this book. It was a perfect ending to a good series.

This is, so far, the only book that I have read from the series, and I have to say that as soon as I finish my current TBR list, I might be picking up more books from Miss Watson. Both main characters were given interesting background stories that enriched their relationship. The problem with their relationship, however, was that it was a whirlwind romance. I only found it believable because of the level of maturity that Camp and Jenny exuded throughout the book, making me just trust them with the way they were going.Smolder was never short of hot and rough sex scenes and rich family drama, especially on Jenny's end. I love how both were related, with Jenny needing the physical pain (as it came with pleasure) because of her troubles. She was undoubtedly an admirable heroine. Like a hard candy, she was independent and headstrong on the outside, but tender and sensitive on the inside. Her chemistry with Camp was spot-on, making this one a worthwhile read.A well-written story.Don't be fooled by the cover though, Smolder is so much more than a hot alpha. It packs depth that one rarely finds now in erotica books.

Super quick, yet satisfying read. Has all the elements; hot-bodied and hot-headed alpha guy, pretty yet down to earth woman in need of help, and the bumpy road to love. Jenny is the new designer for Campbells new hotel. Right from the get go they clash... well, Camp started it! Jenny is just trying her best to have a life while taking care of her 17 year old brother who is too autistic to be independent. Gina Watson does a great job describing life with an autistic family member. My own daughter is mildly autistic so I know what I'm talking about. The author didn't shy away from some of the more difficult aspects when dealing with an autistic person, especially during their teenage years. Campbell is engaged to a woman who doesn't appreciate passion at the beginning of the book, but don't worry about that getting too awkward. However getting Jenny to believe he's in for the long haul isn't going to be as easy. But Camp sure does get creative! Really it was remarkable how much story was packed into less than 100 pages.

Jenny is the new designer at Camp’s new casino. She is struggling to cope with her responsibilities to her brother and her needing to live her own life.Camp walked in on his first wifes affair and he's decided what he needs is someone comfortable and safe, not raw, messy emotions. He's engaged to a NICE girl, but she doesn't seem to even like sex and decided to end things as she's just not comfortable enough in her own skin. There are fireworks at Camp and Jenny's first meeting. The passion is glaringly obviously to everyone but can they get over their fears and mesh their lives together? Clay, his brother, gives him a few pointers on how to get Jenny give things a go between them. He just didn't expect her to like his little acts of her submission quite this much!!I loved that there wasn't insta-love between them, but the spark was there. I loved the way the story of Jenny's family and her brothers condition was handled. I had a big lump in my throat at parts. Great developed characters and a fabulous story.

Short, sexy read, fifth book of the St Martin Family Saga. Campbell St Martin had the hot, passionate wife, who ended up cheating on him. This time around he's looking for a woman with small-town family values. His fiancé can give him this - "he wanted a stable and loyal woman to build a family with. Passion would be nice but in the end, loyalty and stability were the most important qualities." Unfortunately, Kim hates sex. He thinks he can live with this, that is until he meets the interior designer on his latest project, Jennifer Roberts. Jenny just does something to him even though all they do is fight. He realizes he and Kim would never be happy together, but also finds out Jenny isn't interested in a relationship. She has a secret, and even after it's uncovered she wants to stay independent. Camp has his work cut out for him trying to make Jenny his.

I can't believe this is the last book of the series. It has just the right amount of romance and emotional upheaval in everyone's lives. The characters are strong and match each other perfectly.Camp St. Martin was domineering, possessive, controlling, demanding, broody and quiet obsessive in everything that he care about. Jenny was just the same and they fought and loved hard. She did what was needed to care for her brother who has Autism. She was afraid that Andrew would never accept a man in her life. But he took right to Camp without hesitation. After Andrew was in an accident, Jenny was thinking of leaving Camp but he sees it in her eyes. See what he does to keep her. Will she stay?

The last in the family saga, and although not as good as some of the others I still enjoyed it. I felt it was too short and skipped too quickly to the sex rather than focusing on the characters and story. Would have been nice to find out why Camp is seen as Mr Play-it-safe and why his fiancé at the start of the book was the way she was. Camp meets Jenny at a Casino he is doing the construction for, she is the interior designer and he is the site overseer. Sparks fly from the first moment, but she has to put Andrew her dyslexic brother first. He tries to convince her he can love her and be good for her family.

Maybe it's because this is the only book I've read in the series, but I just didn't feel any connection at ALL to either of the characters. The family aspect (caretaker situation) was touching, but I just didn't see a need for the 'fiancee' character or their interactions at all. I'm all for superfluous steamy scenes, but the whole relationship seemed pointless. Maybe it was a bigger deal in previous books in the series? Dunno..Overall nothing about this book drew me into the series and I won't be purchasing additional volumes.

Very sweet, I really liked this book. I love nice quick romance with dimension. It made me want to read the rest of the book in the series. Plus it helps that the sex scenes are hot.
