I received an ARC of this book and I have to say I really enjoyed it and it had me laughing quite a bit. I usually am not I fan of Instalove; however, these stories were well written and It did not bother me too much. I only found my self unable to enjoy or get into one of the stories. it was not that it was not well written it just did not pull me in like the other stories. My favorites were Gen Ryan's Playing for Keeps and Dared by Elena James. I absolutely fell in love with those two. If you are looking for a romantic comedy book with short, sweet, funny, and HEA or HFN I would recommend reading this!!

Hilarious collection of romances set in Australia. I only knew one author in this bunch so it will be a pleasure to look up the rest. I wasn't disappointed in any of them. I think I laughed my way through them all.Dared by Elena EamesFunny, so funny. Leesa is a unique girl in her dress and lifestyle. She can't resist a dare. One dare finds her stuck in a lift-no fun when you're claustrophobic. Rescued by a hot fireman and there is instant chemistry. They have one funny event after another. I really enjoyed this one.Crazy by Kolleen FraserKat is terrified of Australia, she believes all she reads that everything is out to kill her. She meets the right bloke to change her mind and make her want to stay.Finding Love Down Under by S. HartleyDylan travels to Australia to escape her disaster of a failed relationship and to follow her aspiring author dreams. She didn't expect instant attraction and love, and the experience to fire up the scenes in her forthcoming book.Upside Down, Back to Front by Megan LoweGeorgia the girl from Vermont is a student in Queensland, a whole world away in lifestyle and seasons. She meets Sam a tradie and her year in the country is one that she never wants to end.Pineapple Dreams by Aria PeytonThis 40 yr old woman and her 19 yr old twin daughters take a long road trip. She finds attraction half a country away from home. Can she loosen up and enjoy herself with this younger man. You will be hoping for a happy ending and not heart break with this one.Playing for Keeps by Gen RyanMason is an athlete who can get any girl he wants and he does. His new PR Delaney swoops in to save Mason's manwhore reputation. She's a virgin and a professional and is determined to hold back from their chemistry. This is their journey in finding love and happiness.

I'm writing this review in pieces after I finish each story. Dared by Elena Earnes - Loved loved LOVED this story! I laughed out loud more times than I can count! Alastair "Dare" McCarthy - A sexy fireman with a great sense of humor and a willingness to do anything for the woman he's with - totally swoonworthy. Leesa - I could easily relate to her claustrophobic melt down. My only complaint is that I want to read more about them! Playing for Keeps by Gen Ryan - Oh Mason, what a stud! From the first sentence this story is steamy and pulls you in. I can't blame Delaney for being cautious about his bad boy ways. And once again, I'd have love to read more about these characters! Upside Down, Back to Front by Megan Lowe - Sam and Georgia have to be the cutest pair ever! I imagine if I moved down to Australia, or even just went to visit, I would be as confused about the language as Georgia is when she's there! I loved all the lingo in the book and explanations which made other things I know about Australia make more sense. I did have to look up drop bears when I finished though...terrifying!! Absolutely loved this story. Pineapple Dreams by Aria Peyton - Steamy story of taking chances and grabbing life by the balls...no pun intended. I'm not a single mom so I didn't connect with Belle on a personal level, but all her fears sounded like some of my friends who are single moms with stories much like hers. Fun read with the perfect amount of heat. Crazy by Kolleen Fraser - Cute story! Kat is a bit crazy (though I won't say that to her face!). And it's easy to see why she let her heart lead her the way it did!Finding Love Down Under by S Hartley - I loved the story within a story in this one. Dylan, being a writer, we got to see her love story unfold and got to read her current WIP as well. Very cool concept on this one. Fantastic Anthology!

What a great collection of stories! I was provided a copy for an honest review. This a wonderful quick read. You laugh and feel like “why can’t this be me.” Some stories leave you wanting the story to go on, but all leave you completely satisfied. This is a great way to get introduced to some new (or new to you) authors—Go stalk them now!! Kolleen Fraser is a favorite but they are all well worth the read.

*** I voluntarily reviewed this book, I gained no monetary incentives nor was I specifically requested to review the book, these are my honest ramblings and I hope you enjoy reading them - kat***Overall this is a great selection of short stories and I enjoyed everyone of them, having lived in Queensland for a few years it was like re-visiting old friends, here are my thoughts on each story:Dared by Elena EamesWhen Leesa Olsen is rescued by handsome firefighter Dare McCarthy, she knows she didn't exactly make a good impression. Will accepting a date with him help her cause? My thoughts:Sweet, funny and very entertaining. Dare can rescue me any day, and thankfully I can help him out in his phobia department too.Crazy by Kolleen FraserThe only thing Kat Winston fears more than Australia is love. She's about to get a crash course in both.My thoughts:This was a humorous trip across Australia, Kat (always like the characters that are named Kat, She was a crazy older sister who ends up finding romance on her mission to drag her sister home. Although l laughed at the traffic cop scene, I think that the NSW cops must have a better sense of humour than the sunny coast ones, as the ones who stopped me hadn't got one.Finding Love Down Under by S. HartleyAspiring author Dylan Phillips travels all the way to Australia to start the next chapter of her life. Neither she nor sexy Aussie pub owner Ian King are searching for love, but that is exactly what they find.My thoughts:An easy story to get lost in, Dylan let fate lead her on a new path, at the toss of a coin she ended up with an Aussie hunk rather than an Irish one, it flowed well and for once a few dates were had before they do the deed.Upside Down, Back to Front by Megan LoweTo Vermont native Georgia, Australia is a little back to front. Then she meets Sam and he turns her already back-to-front world upside down.My thoughts:A funny reminder of my time living in Queensland, the author got the humour just right.Pineapple Dreams by Aria PeytonOn the first real holiday she's ever had with her teenage twin girls, all Belle expects is sun, sea, and to see all Australia's “big” things. The last thing she anticipates is finding love in a giant pineapple. My thoughts:I enjoyed this story. Not only because it was set mostly in Woombye which was near to where I lived in 2015, but the way the relationship was written was believable, yes young men can desire older women, and although I never do like authors constantly mentioning a woman's bodily differences to the media accepted stick size 0, the insecurities Belle had were from being inexperienced, not overweight.Playing for Keeps by Gen RyanPro rugby player Mason James St. Patrick is known not only for his skills on the field but in the bedroom. When PR rep Delaney Matthews is hired to clean up his image, will she be able to resist his charms or will she fall for the type of man she swore she never would? My thoughts: AN ok story, I think it was hindered it from being a good story due to the size restraints of a novella. The relationship was accelerated, the ending was a bit rushed, I didn't get the authors vision of Delaney, in that if a 28 yr old hadn't traded in her v card she'd not be as quick to fall for Mason

I have to say that this collection is well worth a reader buying. I was able to be introduced to new authors or new styles from some authors I've already read before. What a great way to find a new authors writing to love. All the stories were very short and sweet. But my favorite was Dared. What started out as a joke turned into something more. What's not to love about that. I also love how some of the stories have a character coming from a place like America and falling in love with an Aussie and the culture there. I don't often read stories like that so it was a wonderful change from the normal boy meets girl in town they already lived in.

A great collections of stories that has something for everyone and I absolutely loved Dared by Elena Eames and Pineapple Dreams by Aria Peyton, All the characters are great, they have you laughing, crying or shaking your head at them and the length of each story is just right. Once you pick up this book you won't want to put it down. I now have some new Authors to read which is another bonus of reading this book.

Going South: Love, Adventure and Possibility in AustraliaThis is a collection of six romances by Australian authors who have playfully included the things that make Australia unique. The stories are peopled with students at uni and larrikins, pub owners and chippies, mischievous blokes and footballers. Each one is humorous; a couple made me laugh out loud. So if you're looking for a sweet and sometimes spicy romance that may include a snake, a spider or two and a drop bear thrown in, you'll enjoy these.Dared by Elena EamesLeesa and DareA woman who never backed down from a dare, finds herself needing rescuing from her most recent challenge, ironically, by a first responder named Dare.Warning: This story contains a woman who sings "Soft Kitty" when under stress, a sexy fireman in a kilt with what-we-dare-not-ask beneath, puns that might make you cringe, and one sweet happily-ever-after.Crazy by Kolleen FraserKat and LiamA temperamental woman takes a 12,493 mile trip from BC, Canada to Sydney, NSW, Australia to fetch her love-addled sister home.Enlisting the aid of her sister's neighbor, Kat finds herself on a once-in-a-lifetime road trip and learns first-hand how her sister became so love-addled.Finding Love Down Under by S. HartDylan and IanAn aspiring novelist in search of inspiration finds it in the form of a sexy, blond bartender who serves up drinks along with plenty of Aussie hospitality.Dylan's life has been a disappointment in so many ways. She came to Australia to devote time to a career change and finds love along the way.Upside Down, Back to Front by Megan LoweGeorgia and SamA student on a visa to attend uni in Australia and an Aussie chippie meet when he purchases a flat white coffee at the shop where she works.Integral to this story is its liberal seasoning of Aussie culture and language which are woven artfully into plot, dialogue and personalities. Expect laughter and tears as the months tick past from budding romance to the dread of sad partings.Pineapple Dreams by Aria PeytonBelle and MattA hard-working mother and her nearly grown daughters take a rare holiday to explore the quirky sights in the south. What Belle finds along the way is a fantasy sweeter than she ever dared to dream. Love can find even those who have ceased to believe in the possibility.Playing for Keeps by Gen RyanDelaney and MasonA ball-busting public relations manager and an out-of-control footballer meet in a dance of wills.Delaney is hired to whip Mason and his reputation into shape. Normally immune to masculine charms, she is unprepared for the force that is Mason. As for Mason, he does not want a "babysitter", that is until he meets Delaney and decides she's just what he needs.
